Green Tourism - a REAL experience

You want to experience the real authentic country charm of Australia and prefer to select tourism businesses and attractions mindful of the environment. The Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association and its Members are committed to act as stewards of Kangaroo Valley, to make a contribution to its conservation and the well being of its community Code of Ethics. Here are operators who have signed a Pledge to reduce their carbon emissions, and more still choose to voluntary contribute to our community, as part of our Green Kangaroo program

In many cases the businesses have verified their Green House Gas emissions using our carbon calculators and had their conservation actions recorded by the Kangaroo Valley Public School. Rather than employ a single accreditation process we prefer the flexibility to empower operators to choose creative solutions that are in keeping with their business, which respects our community and geography. This ensures you enjoy a real experience that is unique to that tourism operator and to our beautiful destination. You can also discover our magnificent wildlife, opportunities to contribute to conservation, discover our hidden heritage gems through the historic walk and enjoy fantastic outdoor activities. Enjoy!
