9th November 2011 marks World Responsible Tourism Day, a date that is a call for action to campaign and provide for better tourism. The world's cultural diversity and its biodiversity are all wonderful to celebrate and enjoy. But we need to ensure they are not "loved to death". The Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association seeks to provide tourism experiences which are respectful for the local community and gentle on the planet. We are planning activities for this year's World Responsible Tourism Day and we will be inviting visitors to join in. |
