The Country House
Modern and Australian designs fuse in this beautiful brand new country retreat. Every room flows outside through French or bi-fold doors onto a north facing veranda which looks out onto a formal garden and across to the wild escarpment. Three queen size and two double beds sleep up to 10. Two bathrooms include a clawed bath with a view, bidet, private outdoor shower and brand new washer and dryer. The vaulted open living area includes a fireplace and a large screen home theatre with surround sound. The kitchen is equipped with the latest appliances but catering is also available on request if you don't feel like cooking.
If you want to leave the house it is only a short walk to Kangaroo Valley Village which offers interesting novelty shops, cafes, a country pub and a bowling club. The surrounding area is renowned for canoeing, bushwalking and bike riding. A ten minute drive will take you to an 18 hole golf course boasting magnificent views. A 20 minute drive will take you to Bowral in the Southern Highlands or Berry and Nowra on the South Coast. On the way you can stop and admire some famous views. The possibilities are endless.
