Banksia Park Cottages
Banksia Park is one of those hidden gems that Kangaroo Valley is famous for, allowing visitors to experience the tranquility of the country only 2 hours from Sydney or Canberra. Situated on Radiata rd, off Tallowa Dam rd, the property is off the beaten track yet easy to find. Covering 100 acres, it is a scenically breathtaking property. The amazing outlook is enhanced by Eucalypts, lots of bush and 200 year old ferns. Thirty acres is pristine bush which rolls down to the Kangaroo River. The 750 tree Olive grove is now producing extra virgin olive oil and tastings and sales are available to guests.
Alison Baker & Paul Williams discovered their slice of heaven in 1991 and have never regretted the move from Sydney. Now, with their children Jennifer (12) and Katie (10) and Bailey the Labrador, they invite guests to share this special experience.
This is one of the few boutique properties catering for children. The cottages are self contained, spacious and offer all the features of 4 star accommodation.
The 3 separate play areas provide everything from beach volleyball, trampolining, table tennis and swimming pool and spa. All are encouraged to bring bikes, as quiet riding with no passing traffic is a special thrill.
Campfire nights with damper and marshmallows, followed by wombat spotting makes for a cherished experience.
