Jing Jo Cafe Restaurant
NEWS!
Jing Jo goes Carbon Neutral!
In support of the Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association move towards being a
carbon neutral tourist destination, Jing Jo Cafè Restaurant is doing its bit.
We are planting trees to offset our carbon production. Reducing our energy
use through energy efficient light bulb, replacing inefficient refrigeration,
and proudly use a clothes line for table and kitchen linens.
We also have our own vegetable garden for our vegetables and herbs, supplemented
with local produce wherever possible, including free range eggs.
We proudly host a BookCrossing shelf to reuse preloved books. (see Bookcrossing.com)
After ten years of fast paced Sydney restaurant life, Jing Jo proprietors David and
Chai brought their delicious Thai food to the beautiful Kangaroo Valley in
March 2005.
Moving to its current location overlooking historic Hampden Bridge in July
2008, Jing Jo offers an exciting Modern Australian menu for breakfast and lunch,
and traditional Thai for dinner.
Our menu ranges from a hearty Big Country Breakfast, Steak Sandwich and Fresh
Rice Paper Rolls at lunch through to all time favourites Toong Tongs (Golden
Bags, Massaman Beef, and Chai's take on fish cakes and satay prawns for dinner.
Whether you would like a romantic dinner for two, or a family lunch for 40,
we can cater to your needs. We can put together a banquet to suit your tastes
and budget, and we provide a take away service so you can enjoy our delicious
food at your accommodation while staying in the valley.
We are open for breakfast
and lunch Thursday to Monday to 2.30 pm, and dinner Thursday to Monday from
6.00 pm. We suggest you book, particularly on weekends, to avoid disappointment.
Just give us a call.
